Peach and Prosciutto Bites with Hot Honey

Summertime snacking! These are great little pool side bites, evening appetizers, and will grace a cheeseboard beautifully for your next wine night.

For the Hot Honey:
1/2 cup Agritopia Farm Honey
1 Tablespoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

In a small saucepan add all ingredients and bring to a gentle simmer. Let simmer for about 2 minutes and then remove from the heat. You can let it sit for about 10 minutes to infuse more, and then strain and store. Or just store in a jar in the fridge without straining. The heat will continue to build as the peppers remain in the honey.

For the Peach and Prosciutto Bites:
Slice peaches into bite size wedges
Use one basil leaf per peach slice (or if the leaves are really large, split lengthwise down the middle)
Prosciutto slices cut in half lengthwise

Use the long prosciutto pieces to wrap the basil leaf and the peach slice. together Drizzle as much or as little hot honey over each bite.
