Tomato Jam & Basil Salt Demonstration
Join a classically trained Cordon Bleu chef for an intimate demonstration set among the fields of Agritopia Farm on June 13th at 7:30 am*. In just one hour, discover how peak-season tomatoes are transformed into a rich, jewel-toned jam — and how fragrant basil is cured into a finishing salt that elevates every dish it touches. All produce is harvested fresh from the farm before class, and every attendee gets to taste both preparations at the end.
What You’ll Experience
Watch a Cordon Bleu chef demonstrate slow-cooked tomato jam — balancing acidity, sweetness, and depth from vine-ripened tomatoes
See how fresh basil combined with Coarse salt creates a beautiful finishing salt that can accompany any dish.

Sunflower Bouquet Experience at Agritopia Farm
Join us for a collaboration experience with Rural Stems Flower Farm June 20 at 8am.
Jody Van Rijn owner of Rural Stems Flower farm with teach you how to create a beautiful bouquet of Arizona grown flowers from her farm to accompany the sunflowers that you will harvest that morning from Agritopia Farm.
Ticket includes flowers, vase and supplies to build your bouquet to take home that day and enjoy. Jody with offer education on flower prepping and preservation for a long-lasting beautiful bouquet.
This class is for all ages, must have a ticket for entry. All sales are final.

Outstanding in the Field - Roving restaurant without walls
Outstanding in the Field returns to Agritopia Farm, the flagship farm for the Arizona Urban Agriculture Foundation and the heartbeat of the Agritopia neighborhood.
Christy Davis, the Foundation’s visionary Executive Director and champion of the state’s local food systems, will welcome us to this vibrant oasis, where we will gather beneath peach trees.
Chef Matt Carter, a driving force behind the Phoenix food scene with his Fat Ox, The Mission and Zinc Bistro restaurants, will prepare a meal with produce farmed in much the same way as was traditionally done in this arid landscape.
